Drummer Fernando Silva was self-taught at the age of 14 before moving to Portugal. He was exposed to various styles of music and several years later, recruited by The Last Internationale. They toured parts of Europe including Portugal, France, Italy, Spain, The Canary Islands and Tenerife, as well as performing showcases and national tours across the USA with Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts (Stone Temple Pilots).
The band received major recognition from Rage Against The Machine guitarist, Tom Morello which led to signing with major record label Epic Records. Silva became a desired drummer for many recording sessions including a full analog album and other singles at Pulse Studios (LA) with producer/engineer Ryan Williams, and in Nashville, TN with Brendan Benson.
Currently living in Southern California, Silva teaches private lessons and after-school enrichment programs to students of all ages. His unique and innovative style led to fulfill lead roles in local bands-rock, blues, rockabilly, funk, latin jazz and electronic pop/rock. He has performed with renowned jazz guitarist Cary Denigris, Side Effect’s singer Greg Matta, Lakeside’s Rick Abernathy, and the multi-platinum, Grammy winning guitarist and good friend Frank Deville Greenfield.
